Market Consultation Cable Monitoring System for 2GW Projects

This market consultation seeks to outline the requirements for a Fibre Optic Cable Measurement System for TenneT’s 2GW Program, encompassing newly constructed cable connections and retrofitting existing connections, both onshore and offshore. The 2GW Program aims to develop at least 14 high-voltage direct current (HVDC) offshore grid connection systems, each with a transmission capacity of 2 gigawatts (GW), in the Dutch and German North Sea by 2031.
